It is day two of our nightmare week and we are so glad you're here,  get ready for a look at book 2, and try to control your fear!

A Living Nightmare: (Nightmares Series #2) by: Sage Marlowe
                                                                  reviewed by: Becky

When demons exist in human shape, life itself can become a nightmare.

Gay porn star Colin Meighan and his lover Mikey Fawkes could have been as happy as any couple fresh in love, if it weren’t for the fact that Colin is an incubus demon. His need to feed on his partner’s emotions leaves Mikey drained of energy and ageing prematurely. Before they can find a solution to their problems, Colin is abducted and forced to use his supernatural powers to manipulate young, innocent Sasha, the only son of Gareth DeForest, MP, who has become the target of a secret organisation. Eaten up by the loss of Mikey and the realisation that their relationship is doomed, Colin finds himself unable to play the role he’s been assigned and even worse, he’s falling for Sasha despite his better judgement.

When Mikey unexpectedly reappears into Colin’s life and takes an interest in Sasha, some of their problems appear to be solved, but just as the last pieces are about to fall into place, events take an appalling turn. Colin has to face the bitter truth about his heritage—a truth that makes him understand that when demons exist in human shape, life itself can become a nightmare.

I love it when book 2 in a series delivers everything you think it should, such is the case with A Living Nightmare, I can't get enough of these characters, and the intensity level just keeps rising. By book 6 we are going to need paper bags and blood pressure pills to control the racing hearts! You know it is a good book if it can mess with your pulse! As always in Mr. Marlowe's books, the sex is off the charts! Start reading this series if you haven't, you will be as thrilled and excited by it as all of us who have read it! Thanks Sage, for delivering a book 2 that more that lives up to expectations! I have included Amazon buy links and a short bio on the author, as well as a whole series overview at the bottom of the post, read and enjoy! *5 Stars*

Here is a little bit about the man himself: Mr. Sage Marlowe

Sage is a multi-published author of MM erotic romance novels and novellas and loves exploring the flavors of gay erotic fiction.

A willing slave to all the fascinating guys who keep queuing up and want their stories told, Sage can almost always be found cooking up the next hot story or daydreaming about new ways of rubbing sexy male bodies together to make the sparks fly.

Here is an overview of the Nightmare Series to wet your whistle for a bit:

What if the old, folkloristic tales are true and nightmares exist? What if a nightmare isn’t just the vivid and frightening scenario our tormented subconscious presents to us as we sleep, but a paranormal being that is as substantial and real as you and I—an incubus, a demon that feeds on human emotions? Could a man fall in love with such a demon, and could the demon love him in return?

Colin Meighan, co-owner of the small but successful gay porn production company Centre Studs is also the company’s biggest star. He sports a pretty exterior, but there’s more to him than meets the eye. Too young to know the full extent of what he is, he has to learn that the world he lives in isn’t what it seems. There are powers at work that exceed everything he’s ever believed in and the lines between nightmare and reality become blurred as he discovers the truth about himself and his gruesome heritage.

This, in short, is what the Nightmares – Series is about, but there’s more to it. A lot more. A cast of intriguing, likeable and mysterious characters takes you on a ride with more twists and turns than the average rollercoaster. Hot sex is more than just fun for these guys—it’s vital. And yet, while one man alone can never be enough for demon Colin, romance and love are far from dead.

Try the Nightmares but be warned: they’re addictive and will possibly—probably—leave you sweating, tossing and turning in your bed…or wherever you choose to read them.
