Review

This book is one of my favorites from this author.  Brian and Sway are both such amazing characters, both so complex and well written.  I always say this author knows how to write alpha males and this is another prime example.  

Brian has such a heart wrenching past and he has been relegated to one offs to even feel another’s hands on him.  He deserves not just love, but the strength, support and companionship a truly good man and partner can give him. While he is a true badass, he is also caring, loyal and snarky as hell.  Watching his brother, Ford, get his man has just pulled Brian’s want for a man of his own to the forefront.

Sway has his own rocky past, losing his brother way to early, helping his mom with her illnesses and becoming an amazing RN.  He brings his patients and family such joy and strength, but has not been open to relationships due to past problems.  

Watching how these two extremely strong men come together and work so hard to make their new relationship solid, even through their insecurities, is intense.  Plus, I just love seeing Brian go all hulk on a certain moronic doctor.

I have enjoyed this narrator throughout the series but particularly with Brian, his capability to mold that bass voice into growly perfection comes through amazingly.  The pairing of this author and narrator makes for an outstanding series. I can’t wait to hear the next.
