Kyle Blyss lives to tear up the track on his motorcycle, and touring across Europe is unbelievable. Meeting up with his cousin, an Army Ranger, who he looks a lot like, only adds to his adventure. When he meets his cousin’s friends, Kyle is excited by the lust that pulses between him and the sexy CIA agent, and he’s eager to explore the connection.

Steve Dixon always wanted to be a superspy, so he joined the CIA. His current assignment is a counterterrorist joint task force, headquartered in Germany. When he meets his co-worker’s motorcycle riding cousin, he’s overwhelmed at their mutual attraction.

Then everything goes south.

A mistaken identity, the Delta Team rescue, and a bag of gummies lead Kyle and Steve to re-examine their careers, their love...and their lives.

QUOTE
This quote was actually said to Kyle by Warren about Steve, but both men soon realize they are choosing each other.
REVIEW
This book was written in the world of the Susan Stoker’s Special Forces: Operation Alpha series.
I went into this book expecting a fast paced and exciting love story, and I found that and more.  Both Kyle and Steve are working hard to get the most out of their chosen jobs, and lives, living on the edge and to the fullest.  When they meet, sparks fly and over the next few weeks they grow closer as they move from a fiery attraction to a full relationship.
I enjoyed the dance between Steve and Kyle, each man showing strength and some vulnerability.  Their relationship starts based on mutual attraction but they find they are willing to work to see each other while balancing Kyle’s racing events and Steve’s job requirements.
Just as they are realizing their feelings are much deeper than either thought they were ready for, terror strikes and Kyle experiences firsthand the dangers inherent in Steve’s job.  Once the dust settles, both men struggle to deal with the after effects.
I have to admit, my favorite part of this book was watching both men re-evaluate their needs and lives, learning what they are willing to sacrifice to stay together.  I’m glad this author showed both men wrestling with finding the equilibrium between who they are singly and as a couple.
I would definitely recommend anyone who enjoys a fast paced and extremely romance to grab this one up.  And I look forward to more books based around the team at IronEx.
Rating:
It definitely gets the 4 Bags of German Gummies Rating for all of the guys’ favorites.
