Eleven years ago, when Gothboy mooched into their business studies class for the very first time, Krissi had taken one look at him and thought, What a freak. He's so cool!
Now in their mid-twenties, Krissi Johansson and Jay Meyer are successful businesspeople and still best friends. But while one is moving forward with their life, the other is sliding ever backwards...revisiting the past and wallowing in regret.
Between career commitments, unresolved family matters and friends springing unwelcome surprises, Krissi and Jay have more than enough drama to contend with, and not all of their own making.
On top of all that, it's Christmas. Yay.
There are very few series that I treasure as much as I do the Hiding Behind The Couch Series by Debbie McGowan! I was so excited to read Goth of Christmas Past, and I was not disappointed!
Jay and Krissi have been friends since school and they are each dealing with the pains of growing up, but at least they have each other. This book tells their story through the past and the present, and that is really hard for an author to do, but Debbie does it with ease!
Jay and Krissi have decisions to make and things thrown in their paths that they struggle with, but with each other they will prevail! I love this sweet friendship and I was so excited to catch up with some of my faves from the Hiding Behind The Couch series!
If you haven't read this series, you can still enjoy Goth Of Christmas past and I strongly urge you to do so!
