Hello fellow bibliophiles! I’m happy to be the next VIR to get to show some of my favorite authors some love and also maybe give you some more books to add to your TBR. You’re welcome!
I’ve been a reader as far back as I can remember. I originally started looking at MM because I got tired of all the damsels in distress that needed rescuing by her big strong man. I’ve been reading MM ever since early 2014 and it’s what I read about 98% of the time.
My first MM author was Aria Grace. Before that a few of the books I read were MMF or MFM but they weren’t to my liking so I went looking for something better. I got tired of it being a cheating situation that made the gay/bi character always be the bad guy home wrecker and the guy who was cheating on his spouse was the poor unsuspecting straight dude who was taken advantage of.
It didn’t take me long to find some favorite authors in this great community! Here is a list of some favorites. Alexa Land - You need Nana in your life from her Firsts and Forever series! Lucy Lennox - just start at the beginning and buy everything she writes. Kindle Alexander - If you read Always bring the tissues. Riley Hart who also writes as Nyrae Dawn is an absolute favorite. Felice Stevens, K.M Neuhold, Nora Phoenix, Mercy Celeste, Sloan Johnson, Andria Large, Maris Black’s SSU Boys series, Ella Frank, Jaime Reese’s Men of Halfway House series and Nicola Haken’s Souls of the Knight series. AE Via’s characters are some of the most alpha characters I’ve read! I’d be doing you a disservice not to mention Amy Jo Cousins, RG Alexander, Cardeno C, Ann Lister, Aimee Nicole Walker and the talented Sandrine Gasq-Dion - an author who brought happiness into our lives through her characters and who left us way too soon. I’m certain I didn’t mention all of my favorites but that would take all night and this is probably already too long. Sorry! I can talk books and authors all night. I hope you find some favorites of your own from my list.
