CROSSING BORDERS REVIEW:
WHAT A BEAUTIFUL QUOTE! HERE IS MARI'S REVIEW:
Crossing Borders by: Z.A. Maxfield

Two dudes walk into a bookstore…
Tristan knows he’s got issues. His latest ex-girlfriend knows it too. He can’t blame her for dumping him—even though she gets her brother to do it for her. Since he can’t stop staring at said brother’s package, he figures it’s about time to put a label on those issues. He likes guys.
He heads to a local bookstore with what he’s sure is a foolproof plan to find someone to show him what he’s been missing. But who should crash his little adventure? Officer Michael Truax, who gave him a really expensive ticket back in high school for skateboarding without a helmet.
Michael has been trying to catch Tristan for years...to give him a second ticket. Suddenly faced with “Sparky”, all grown up and looking to get laid, Michael’s protective instinct kicks in—and presents him with an opportunity that’s hard to resist. After all, the kid must know what he’s getting into, so why not?
But when a man with a plan connects with a man with a hunger, the result is nothing short of explosive.
I have been wanting to read this book for a long time.... when I finally found the perfect time to start I just couldn't stop.
Since the Foreword.... author Zam Maxfield enthralls you with her words ... with the curiosity of what you are going to find in each page of the book...
Saying that, I truly believe that I shouldn't have waited until now to read this book.
I was, better said, I am, in love with Tristan and Michael's story. The way the story flows through each page is fascinating to me.
Since they first looked at each other, face to face, I must say (second time around) you could say that they were meant to be ... because Michael's heart was in it since the beginning.
Tristan thought he would find someone random to open his eyes ... but what he found was simply put ... a great love....
Tristan and Michael needed to be together, to grow together and separately ... because regardless of whether or not they understood since the beginning ... making sacrifices ... making your partner laugh and smile ... making the love of your life happy ... starts with accepting the differences ... and accepting the offer of a kiss.
This is a beautiful story ... of loving deeply and giving your heart to the one who sees you for you...
Brava Zam!
the 5 heart lock tattoo rating :)

BE SURE YOU GET THIS BOOK GUYS! HERE IS MARI'S REVIEW OF WHAT CHILD IS THIS, A CROSSING BORDERS CHRISTMAS STORY:
What Child Is This (A Crossing Borders Christmas Story)
by: Z.A. Maxfield reviewed by: Marinieves
Michael and Tristan are finally taking that much needed weekend away for Christmas. They’ve been working so hard at their respective careers there hasn’t been time for a breather, much less a chance to reconnect and see if they’ve been working toward what they both want.
Like always, Michael’s well-laid plan is derailed by a phone call from Apple House. Three of their charges have gone missing and while Michael is worried, it’s not unusual for the young adults who stay at the shelter for homeless LGBT teens to come and go.
But when one of them calls Michael and asks if – hypothetically speaking – it’s considered kidnapping to keep a baby who’s been abandoned, Michael and Tristan head home with all speed to sort things out.

This novella is a beautiful way to get into the Season of Miracles.
Michael has a plan ... to spend time alone with Tristan during the Christmas Holidays but doesn't really see what really matters to his Sparky.... they have been busy with work and school.
When Michael and Tristan finally get away ... they are interrupted by Michael's work ... but that is the most important part ... the kids at Apple House are Tristan’s kids too.
Jack and Prim are two of the boys that live at Apple House ... along with Kate ... they find themselves making a decision that could be not a good idea regardless of being a noble one...
The Christmas season and new view of love can change the heart of someone that has suffered. Jack and Prim find that sometimes friends can see deep into your heart.
