Oh what a tangled (but very entertaining) web we weave.... this book is a non stop read from cover to cover! You just have to read one more chapter to see what happens, and you just have to do this over and over until you are done!
Jeremy wants to go to college and this is why he agrees to his mothers hair brained deception to lure Chris away from Trix, whom Chris wants to marry, not because he loves her like a fiance should, but because he wants to do the right thing for the widow and daughter of his best friend. Can Jeremy do it? If he can then what!
Chris wants to do the right thing, he really does but Jeremy sets his blood boiling like no other, and whether Trix wants to admit it Jeremy's brother sets her blood boiling too! Chris can't have Jeremy though if he wants to marry Trix, but does he still want to, even for the reasons he did?
Things come apart for all 4 people involved when secrets old and new come out, can they make it work, any of them? Or are the secrets and deceptions just to big a hurdle? When something happens that could have been beyond horrific, will these 4 see that how they got to where they are really doesn't matter?
You guys will love love love this book as much as I did! Thanks Eli, for another wonderful book in the Dreamspun Desires line!
