Hard work and long hours have made Will Kovar’s business, Total Plumbing Solutions, a success. When he’s called to fix a bathroom at the Safe Home for Girls and Boys and sees how tight money is for the charity, he’s happy to donate his time. Meeting the home’s manager, Steve Hayes, is an added bonus, especially when Steve invites Will to dinner to thank him for his generosity. Will learns Steve’s wealthy family isn’t happy about his choice to make a career in social work, but neither man expects Steve’s parents to leave eighteen children out on the street to prove their point. Will is determined to help Steve figure out how to provide a safe and happy home—for both the children and themselves.
It is no secret that I am a HUGE fan of this series! I love the Workplace Encounters premise, and the way Serena Yates delivers these stories is amazing!
I loved happy go lucky Will as soon as I "met" him, he owns his own Plumbing business, and the only blight on his life is that his parents, namely his mother, refuses to accept that he is gay and keeps trying to set him up with women.
Steve is to be praised for not doing what his well off family wanted by following his father into the family business, and becoming a social worker, even though it meant his family cut ties.
When the Safe Home for Girls and Boys Steve works for has a plumbing problem he meets Will, and both of them acknowledge that there are sparks there!
When things come to a head with Steve's job and family, he will need Will more than ever, will these two men be able to weather the storm together, whatever happens?
I love this story and you will too! I can't wait for you to see what happens!!! Thanks Serena, for a new book in a much beloved series!
