As the two men bond over a discussion about corn dogs— something Darwin’s never heard of—he realizes how much he’s missed out on in his life. He vows to open himself to new experiences—including, perhaps, a chance at finding love again.
Not wanting anything to muddy their blooming relationship, Darwin hides part of himself from Ricky. He likes the look in Ricky’s eyes, unclouded by Darwin’s notoriety. Unfortunately, the truth can never stay hidden, and when it comes out, Darwin may lose any hope of holding onto the future they’ve begun to build.
Oh wow this book! It is amazing, and I love the attention to detail Parker Williams give to each and every character in this book, secondary or not (I swear I am in love with Henley :p)! You will get pulled into this story just like I did, and trust me, you will not want to leave it!
Darwin is rich, well beyond rich actually, he doesn't want for anything material, but since his lover Dean died years ago, he hasn't had the affection and love of a partner. When he meets Ricky at his preferred restaurant he is surprised that after his initial disappointment that he wasn't his regular waiter, Darwin is delighted by him! Ricky opens up a whole new world to Darwin, a world his parents had never exposed him to. Can he keep Ricky when Ricky finds out who he is?
Ricky finds Darwin fascinating, and he is so surprised by the things Darwin hasn't done that he tries to get Darwin to experience new things. What will happen when Ricky finds out how wealthy Darwin is, will he bolt thinking he has nothing to offer? Boy would he be wrong!!
