Jared just wanted to celebrate his birthday and make new friends, but he quickly finds that clubbing can be dangerous. In fact, the whole world is a different place than he thought it was. Werewolves, vampires, and faeries turn out to be all too real. Front and center of it is is Steven Chang- alpha heir and all around good guy. He says Jared's his mate. It's all a bit much for Jared to process, but maybe it'll all be okay as Steve says he's willing to date first. For a while anyway. Jared just hopes it's long enough to wrap his head around it all, hopefully without getting disappeared by the mysterious men in suits or anything weirder happening.
I was lucky enough to read a sample of this book a while ago as it was in progress, and boy was I excited about it just from that little taste! I am very happy to report the finished product lived up to my expectations and then some!
Jared goes to a club on his birthday and it doesn't end the way he thought it would at all, as a matter of fact, the night turns really crappy in a matter of minutes! He is lucky he has a knight in shining armor that saves him.
Steve is the alpha to be, and he is ready to take his rightful place now that he found his mate..now to tell his mate what that means and what he really is! It may be harder than Steve thinks, but Jared will come around.. won't he?
Jared is trying to process that the world is not the place he thought it was, there is so much more to it, and he can't deny his strong pull towards Steve, will he follow it, or will he run the other way?
This is a book you will be enthralled with, and there is so much more to it than what I have explained, but alas, I don't do spoilers so you will have to read and see what happens, it will be worth it and then some! Thanks Leona, for a book that has me really excited for what is to come in this series!
