Chance has lost two things in the past year: his only remaining family and his passion for photography. He didn't expect to get any of them back or to gain anything new, until he finds out his childhood crush, Terrance, is gay. But either Terrance isn't interested in him or he has a real hang-up about dating younger men. Can Chance make him change his mind?
I knew this short story was special just a few pages in, and let me tell you, I was right! Picture Us will have you wanting to read the whole thing in one sitting! I fell in love with the characters, now to convince the author one of them needs his own book like yesterday ;)!
Chance has lost his last remaining family which is his Aunt and Uncle in a car crash, and he feels a fair amount of guilt that they died not knowing the whole truth about Chance, he knows in his heart they would have loved him anyway.
Terrence was his Aunt and Uncles neighbor but unknown to everyone, he has always meant more to Chance, when Chance comes home to take care of his family's affairs will he finally have the guts to tell Terrance what he means to him, will he even have to?
These two have much to talk about and work through if they want to make it, will they work it out or will they let this opportunity slip through their fingers?
You will love these two, and you will fall in love with Chance's best friend Jay, who, if you ask me, needs his own book pronto! Thanks Shayla, for giving us a great story and hopefully opening the door for another one!
