Absolution is the first book in The Protectors series by Sloane Kennedy and boy is it a brilliant start to the series. Fair warning that this book is heavy and intense at times but is it is beautifully written and handled perfectly.
I read a lot of books and many leave me the moment I finish reading them but this one, this one stayed with me long after I finished it! From the first paragraph it grabbed me and kept my attention the whole way through. It is well written and developed. It was a true joy to read.
Jonas, Mace and Cole are so very different from each other. Each one is fighting some intense inner demons, especially Jonas, but together they give each other the love and support that they all need to tackle their past and move forward to a future together.
These three characters infuse seamlessly into each other's lives and that's not always easy to achieve in an ménage book. Just goes to show you what an absolute brilliant author Sloane Kennedy is.
Lastly I just want to add that the sex scenes in this book are off the charts hot, hot, hot! You need to read this book today! You won't be sorry!!
