Seth finds himself alone at an abandoned train station, with no idea what happened, or how he got there. He boards a train, only to discover it's a special express transporting the recently deceased to their final destination. The conductor tells him he's having a near-death experience. Seth wonders if it has something to do with his violent boyfriend, but that doesn't matter. All that matters is getting the hell off the train before he actually dies. But when he spots his best friend and secret crush among the traveling dead, the urge to leave fades...
Do you ever read a book with a storyline that is so fresh and amazing that you just pause for a minute to take it in? Well you will do that with this book I promise, it is amazing! Ana J. Phoenix has a handle on how to write a captivating book for sure!
Seth is at a train station in the middle of nowhere with no knowledge of how he got there or why, and the next thing he knows he is on a steam engine, headed to..well it seems only he can decide that!
How did he get here? It seems he is in a purgatory of sorts, but he doesn't know what happened to get him here, did his abusive boyfriend finally go to far?
When Seth sees Carter on the train he doesn't understand, and when Carter tells him he doesn't have the option to go back, Seth is really at a loss. Can Seth tell Carter the things he was too shy to say in life? Would it even matter, Carter is straight right?
I won't spoil of course, but I will say you will take an amazing trip with these two as they figure out feelings and the right thing to do, and you better bring your tissues!
You will be as nuts about this book as I am, so grab it up and enjoy the ride! Thanks Ana, for a wonderful journey that we won't soon forget!!
