This book got me hooked from the first time I read it’s blurb! I knew that I would love it and boy, I was right!
We meet Simon and Adrian during a matchmaking encounter arranged by their friends… Both guys are interested in each other, but for different reasons, none are willing to see if they would work out together…
Simon is used to guys wanting him because of his success, family connections and money, and Adrian is used to avoiding hearing guys because usually they didn’t bother to learn ASL, or even to look at him while talking, so he could read their lips… no, they are simply bored after a while, so he learned in the hard way, not to go out with them… until he gives Simon a chance…
Simon never considered Adrian deafness as a handicap. To him, ASL was just a different language that he needed to learn to be with Adrian, as simple as that, and that was really refreshing to Adrian.
I loved how committed Simon is to learn to communicate correctly with Adrian, and how Adrian is the rock Simon needs to face his issues with his family and I was thrilled to see old acquaintances again, since their friends are a huge part of their lives.
I had a great time reading it and will wait anxiously for the next one in this series. Don’t miss it!
