Feels Like Home by: Rowan McCallister
reviewed by: Claudia
It’s only three days ’til Christmas. Jeremy Porter is still grieving over his mother’s death, and Paul McClellan is a lonely divorcee just trying to make it home even though the only one waiting for him is his cat. It may seem like a miserable combination, but when Jeremy saves Paul from being hit by a car during a nasty snowstorm, their connection and chemistry are undeniable. It’s easy to cuddle up with a stranger when you’re snowed in but can a holiday affair turn into more if being together feels like home?
A novella from the Dreamspinner Press 2011 Advent Calendar package "I'll Be Home for Christmas"
When Jeremy sees a guy struggling with a flat tire near his house, he doesn’t think much about it… he just wants to get into his empty and lonely home and spend the holidays alone, the first since his mom passed away. But his plans are shattered by a too fast driver and he needs to act fast to take the stranger out of harm’s way before the car hits him.
Paul is having a horrible day. He’s away from home for weeks, got stuck in traffic, then the snow storm arrived… when he thought nothing worse could happen, he got lost trying to escape traffic, got a flat tire and was almost killed by a hit and run car… Yep, what a day!!! If the stranger hadn’t saved him at the last second, he could’ve died…
The least Jeremy could do after saving Paul’s life was invite him into his house to warm up… They soon realize their attraction to each other and decide to make something good out of their fated meeting.
the 4 flat tires in snow rating :)
