A blind date leaves Harry reeling, and another date goes as badly. Scars on Elijah’s face are clues of a broken soul, yet Harry can’t walk away. Not even when he learns Elijah sees a dead man in mirror reflections.
Elijah’s sanity snaps. Blamed for crimes he didn’t commit, Elijah has already survived a brutal murder attempt and now hides under a Protection Program. Harry must have faith he is innocent and fight for Elijah’s stolen rights.
Can Harry do this without losing his mind, his own rights, and the man he loves?
I will try to convey the level of excellence this book reaches without giving the spoilers away! I can tell you for a fact that you will run the gamut of emotions while reading it, yes it is that brilliant!
Harry meets Elijah on a blind date, and he is smitten right off, but to say it is a little awkward is an understatement :P, when Harry sees Elijah again, it doesn't go much better, but Harry is drawn to the man with the scarred face and troubled soul, and he just can't turn his back on the attraction, no matter what kind of things get uncovered about Elijah and his past.
Elijah has ghosts, painful, heart wrenching ghosts of a past that was a living nightmare. Though he likes Harry, he doesn't think he is strong enough to deal with the pain of his past, let alone the pain of the reflection in the mirror!
Can these two overcome both painful and joyous revelations, as well as people trying to tear them apart? How much will Harry fight for Elijah, especially when it seems that sometimes Elijah isn't fighting as hard as Harry?
Oh..my..goodness, you really have to read this one friends, to say it is an amazing story is such a gross understatement! Zathyn can find depths for characters to rise out of that you just can't imagine, this is what makes him so talented and such an asset to the MM genre!
Thanks Zathyn, for yet another book that left me believing that with the right person behind you, anything is possible!
