Coworkers and cubicle mates, Ishmael "Ish" Cutter and Adan Flores might come from different backgrounds but they have a good number of things in common. The biggest one? They each have a secret crush on the other. This holiday season they are both single for the first time in thirteen months. No boyfriends or clingy ex issues - maybe it's time for Adan to make his move? He formulates the perfect plan and invites Ish over for his family's Kwanzaa feast...but will he have the courage to make the first move or will this holiday season be one to forget?
I love a book where you can connect with the characters right away and fall in love with them, and this is one of those stories!
Ish has been crushing on his cubicle mate at work Adan, for what feels like forever, but he doesn't have the guts to tell his friend. Ish is gearing up for another not so hot Holiday Season when Adan invites him over to his family's Kwanzaa Party.
Adan has wanted Ish since they met over a year ago at work, but he hasn't acted on it and doesn't know if his friend feels the same. Will the party invitation give Adan the opening to see if Ish would like things to go in a romantic direction?
I love that you get both guys perspective and see how they feel about each other, you just wanna push them together and yell " He is so into you"! Ahh but all in good time my friends!
You will love this delightful holiday story as much as I did!
