I love this series so much, and after each book I wonder if Heidi Cullinan can give us another one with as much heart and soul as the one I just finished, she does that and then some!
I felt for Elijah the first time I met him, he was surly and bitter, but I just knew that beneath that exterior was a hurting young men that needed more than he would admit he did. Can Elijah learn to lean on the people who just want to be his friends and help him, and most of all can he accept that a guy that was a playboy really has deep feelings for someone as messed up as him?
Baz is at a crossroads with his best friends graduating and moving on, he knows things are changing, but he just doesn't know how he will cope. Elijah could come to mean so much to Baz, if only Eli would believe it.
Just when it looks like these two will get their HEA, Baz's mom, who is running for public office, throws a wrench in the works, do these two have the guts to stand and fight for the feelings they have, more importantly, are the feelings deep enough on both side to even bother? In addition to this being a stellar book, you get to see all your 'old friends' from the other books in the series!
I really hope you read this one friends, it is a wonderful story about learning to stand on your own two feet and fight for what it is you really want! Thanks Heidi, for making the 3rd book in this series just as magical and captivating as the first two!
