Paul and Asher have been together for fifteen years. They're still in love, but each is beginning to have doubts about what their future holds. Paul comes up with the brilliant idea that a week in Hawaii is the sure-fire way to reignite their dwindling spark. He's mapped out every last detail of their romantic tropical getaway. Now, if only the universe would stop screwing with his plans...
I love this book, I just want to give Paul a hug, poor thing! He and Ash have been together a long time, and lately it feels like they are in a rut, and he wants the spark back with the man he loves.
Ash has hangups bless his heart, flying, boats, and bugs, to name a few, but he is excited to spend this time with Paul, even though he is being secretive about the trip. Ash just wants what he and Paul have to last forever, oh yeah another of his hangups is marriage ;p!
Paul planned for this trip down to the last detail, too bad it doesn't always go how he planned. It seems that everyone of his plans has a flaw or something goes wrong, but maybe things going wrong will turn out right in the end!
Ash and Paul are a lovely couple, and perhaps this vacation was just what they needed, even though things didn't go as planned! This is a fun, witty read that you will enjoy as much as I did! Thanks Jonathan, for making this one so much fun I can't wait to read so much more from you!

NOW FOR AN EXCERPT I THINK YOU WILL ENJOY: (PAUL'S POV)
When I spot our destination ahead, I put on the turn signal, and immediately feel the energy shift, his attention riveting on the approaching sign. I turn off the main road while he reads it, and his expression clouds over.
He mutters, “Muir Woods… Muir Woods…” Then his eyes go wide as hula hoops. “Redwoods! We’re gonna see redwoods?”
I knew it! This was the perfect idea! A moment ago he was nonchalant. The way he’s all lit up now makes a kid in a candy store look somnolent. By the time we’re in line at the ticket booth he’s bouncing on the balls of his feet. He’s trying to contain himself, but if he were to suddenly clap his hands and cry out, “Oh, goody- goody-goody!” it wouldn’t surprise me in the least.
We make our way down the trail into the forest, round a bend, and he gasps. He stops with a hand to his chest. There it is. His first big tree.
