Ryan knew he shouldn't pursue anything with Philip but he just couldn't stop himself.
When Philip made the first move it surprised them both and started them on a journey of friendship, love and heartache.
When they are torn apart deliberately by someone from Ryan's past, can they mend their broken hearts and rebuild the trust they used to have.
Can they make their way back to a second chance love?
The thing that really made me get into this book was the fact that the characters were so real, they made mistakes they had heartbreak and happiness, and the best thing about it is, you felt it all! You got angry right along with Ryan, and you felt bad right along with Phillip.
Phillip is a young man Ryan meets while teaching, usually that will turn me off, but not in this one, Phillip is a remarkable young man that deserves love and happiness, sadly he makes a mistake that takes it all away.
While Ryan and Phillip live life apart I want to shake them and say "Ahh give him one more chance," or "Ahhh just go talk to him already!" I love the plot development in this story, and I have to admit I wanted to kick Eric's ass and Matt's so they were written well too!
Take a chance on this book, you will not be sorry! I love it when people learn from their mistakes and become better people and that is what happens here! Thank you April, for giving us a book we can tuck into and really enjoy!
