Just a little Love Bite: Sometimes the best family is the one you choose yourself. A couple of months before, Jaymes Martinez—master of the Amarillo coven—received from Fate the best Christmas present possible. He discovered his beloved in the young human Paul Cosborn. Unfortunately, Paul was only seventeen at the time, so Jaymes returned home and did his best to focus on readying his coven for his beloved’s arrival. Nearly two months later, Jaymes is ready to make his move. He convinces fellow vampire, Daystrum, who’d been keeping an eye on Paul for him, to bring him out to the ranch to visit. After one erotic encounter with Paul, and one oh-so-satisfying bite, his beloved is kidnapped. Can Jaymes track down his missing beloved in time for them both to enjoy a romantic Valentine’s Day?
One of the things I love most about Charlie Richards books is that she builds up her plot and characters in a way that makes you fall into the story and get invested in what happens in the book! When you finish reading a Charlie Richards book you know she put her heart and soul into every line, and this one is no different! Jaymes is a vampire, and he is patiently (sort of :P ) waiting for his beloved to come of age so he can claim him. Paul knows nothing of vampires, or beloved's, not to mention the fact that he is one to a very important vampire! Having been through a lot, will Paul surrender himself and all he is to Jaymes for all time? This one gets your attention and keeps it, a must have for sure! Thanks Charlie, for the buildup and the flawless delivery!
