Alex walks down the road of his life, apparently without any detours. He has a job, friends, a nice apartment and a girlfriend who meets his needs. A smooth life lived on a smooth road.
But when Daniel shows up at his door, Alex meets the first bump in road -- which turns out to be more like a boulder -- in his way.
Daniel is a gorgeous, warm, affectionate man, one who will force Alex to deal with something that happened years ago, something that made him take the safe route through life. With Daniel, he finally realizes that he'd shut down his true self, he begins the most difficult part of his journey -- the one that could take him to Daniel and to happiness.
First of all, I love this cover, how sweet is this? Now about the book, well I happen to love that too! The way this author not just takes you along for the ride, but actually is so descriptive she pulls you into the story is amazing! You will love Daniel, and you will find yourself rooting for Alex to embrace his true self, and you will feel his pain! At one time or another we have all sacrificed what we wanted for what we thought we should have, but you will be rooting for Alex to find it in himself to choose the path that will take him to happiness, and the one that will love him no matter what! Thanks Erin, for this masterful read that has tons of heart and character!
