'SILENT' SPEAKS RIGHT TO YOUR HEART!!

TODAY WE ARE LOOKING AT 'SILENT' BY SARA ALVA, THIS BOOK IS NOT TO BE MISSED, LET'S TAKE A CLOSER LOOK:

THIS QUOTE IS SOMETHING WE ALL NEED TO KEEP IN MIND, EVERYONE IS DIFFERENT, BUT NO ONE IS LESS BECAUSE OF IT! LET'S LOOK AT MY REVIEW:

                                                       Silent by: Sara Alva

Alex’s life as a teenager in South Central L.A. is far from perfect, but it’s his life, and he knows how to live it. He knows what role to play and what things to keep to himself. He’s got it all under control, until one lousy pair of shoes kicks him out of his world and lands him in a foster care group home.

Surrounded by strangers and trapped in a life where he could never belong, Alex turns to the only person lower on the social ladder than he is: a “special” mute boy. In Sebastian, Alex finds a safe place to store his secrets—those that sent him to foster care, and the deeper one that sets him apart from the other teenagers he knows. But Sebastian has secrets of his own, and when tragedy rips the two boys apart, Alex will stop at nothing to find the answers—even if it means dragging them both through a past full of wounds best left buried.

It might just be worth it, for the slim chance at love.

I could use many words to describe this book, words like: awesome, fantastic, great, but I choose to describe it as powerful! It has a powerful message, and a powerful love between two boys the rest of the world wouldn't look twice at. This book shows that everyone matters to someone, and just because you are different doesn't mean you are broken. The way Alex gives his whole heart and soul to Seb, and to proving to the world that Seb is worth 100 people that society considers normal is awe inspiring. Please get this book, not because I ask you too, but because this is a story that needs to be read and understood by everyone. No one is unfixable, and no one deserves to have people think they are! Thank you Sara, for giving us a book that makes you love it, but also makes you think about the way you treat others, and how to change that for the better!  *5 Stars*
