NORTOWN SERIES REVIEW & PROMO POST

OMG GUYS! DO I HAVE AN AWESOME SERIES FOR YOU TODAY! I AM GONNA DO THREE MINI REVIEWS AND TWO UPCOMING BOOK PROMO POSTS FOR THE AMAZING NORTOWN SERIES BY OFELIA GRAND! THIS SERIES IS BEYOND GREAT! SEXY LUMBERJACKS AND THE GUYS THAT FELL THEM LIKE TREES IN THE FOREST!! WOO HOO WHAT COULD BE BETTER! LET'S TAKE A LOOK:

THIS QUOTE IS PERFECT FOR THIS WHOLE SERIES! BELOW IS MY REVIEW OF THESE WONDERFUL BOOKS:

BOOK 1: ONCE IN A SNOWSTORM:

Published 8th December, 2015
Length: 28,860 words (102 pages) approx.

Daring a snowstorm might not be the smartest thing Aiden has ever done, but he can't stand being in his flat a moment longer. With only three days to Christmas, he doesn't want to be alone. He wants a place to belong, wants people around him who won't look down on him. He might not find all that at his mother's place, but at least it's better than being alone in the city. If he can make it there, that is.

Tristan is looking forward to a quiet night in front of the TV, but instead, he has to save an idiot in designer clothes from freezing to death in his forest. Tristan tries not to notice the man's good looks, just like he has tried not to notice any man's good looks for the last seven years. He knows where relationships go and is far better off living alone, with his dog, in his cabin.

Aiden is driving Tristan mad with his bratty comments and irresponsible ways, and Aiden is going crazy from Tristan's judgmental attitude. Luckily, in a few days, the weather will clear up, and the two men won't have to be together any longer. But will a few steamy nights with the grumpy lumberjack change Aiden's mind about wanting to leave? And will Tristan still want to go back to his peaceful, predictable life without fear of getting his heart broken?

Tristan lives alone in the forest, and he likes it that way! Though this may change when he finds a half frozen man in the middle of his woods!

Aiden is hoping he will be accepted by his mother when he shows up, but maybe setting out in the middle of Winter in a smart car wasn't the soundest idea he has ever had!

When he is saved by the prickly lumberjack neither is expecting to spend more than a weekend together, but  it could be that these guys get more than they bargained for.

This book is amazing!! You will love it as much as I do!

the 5 Die Hard Rating :)

YOU WILL LOVE THE REASON FOR THIS RATING, BUT I'M NOT TELLING WHY! GRAB THE BOOK BELOW AND SEE FOR YOURSELF WHY I LOVE IT SO MUCH!

BOOK 2: ONCE IN A FOREST:

Published: 24th March 2016
Length: 34,700 words (125 pages)

Jason has one rule when it comes to holidays - work his shift behind the bar and then find a willing body to distract himself with. One night is long enough to satisfy his needs and still walk away with his heart intact. It has worked out fine for most of his adult life, but this Easter, he's trying something new. He's leaving the city to visit his friend, Aiden, who recently moved in with his boyfriend in the middle of nowhere, but one unfortunate incident leaves Jason without a place to sleep.

Tom doesn't do relationships, he rarely does hook-ups and never too close to home. Living on his own without attachments is far easier than having the whole town knowing about him. As the holiday approaches, his lonely house grows even quieter than normal - at least until his friend, Tristan, dumps an arrogant bartender in his lap.

As soon as Jason lays eyes on the gruff lumberjack whose home he'll be sharing, he knows who'll warm his bed for the weekend and help chase away any pending holiday gloom. Too bad Tom doesn't want to get with the programme. As much as he wants to let Jason close, he won't risk outing himself for a weekend fling. Will Jason trust Tom not to break his heart if he stays longer than a couple of days, and will Tom value their relationship higher than the town gossip?

Jason is rethinking his decision to visit his friend Aiden in the middle of freaking nowhere when his dog gets lost before he even can bat an eye! When he gets pawned off on Tom, Tristan's best friend, he thinks things might be looking up, if Tom were gay.

Tom lives life firmly in the closet and he hasn't met anyone worth kicking the door open for...yet, but Jason just may change his mind.

As Jason and Tom get to know each other they may see that each of them needs the other, now will they be wise enough to see it?

This is an amazing follow up to a lovely book 1!

Expected: 1st September 2016
Length: 41,000 words (164 pages)

In an attempt to run from his past, John has spent the last few years building walls around himself. He knows the best way to stay safe is to keep people at arm's length or preferably out of sight. During weak moments, he might wish he had someone, but he's not ready. After all, it takes seven years for the body to replace all its cells. He has four years to go before he even can think about being around people.

Zachary is always on the move, always on his way to somewhere. He's going from job to job, from country to country. Contrary to what people might think, he wants nothing more than to find a place to call home, and he knows just where. This time, he is ready. This time, he will stay in Nortown. But when he arrives to buy the log cabin he thought would be his, he finds it inhabited. When he goes to talk to the new owner, he is met by the most beautiful green eyes followed by a door slammed in his face.

John should've known the peace he had found in Nortown wouldn't last. One day everything was fine, the next a mountain of a man starts showing up wherever he goes. All Zachary wants is to be close to the quiet man who has moved into his cabin. If following him around is the only way, then so be it. Sooner or later, John will get used to having him there...at least, if Zachary hangs around long enough.

AUTHOR SNAPSHOT ANDREW GREY

HELLO FRIENDS, I AM HERE WITH MY AUTHOR SNAPSHOT FOR THIS WEEK, AND I AM FEATURING ANOTHER AMAZING AUTHOR! ANDREW GREY IS ONE OF THE BEST AND I AM GONNA START WITH A BIO, THEN MY REVIEWS I HAVE DONE OF HIS BOOKS, AND WRAP IT UP WITH A POST BY ME! ENJOY FRIENDS!

AUTHOR BIO AND SOCIAL LINKS:

Andrew grew up in western Michigan with a father who loved to tell stories and a mother who loved to read them. Since then he has lived throughout the country and traveled throughout the world, visiting every continent except Africa and Antarctica. Andrew adores meeting people from cowboys, to executives, artists, police officers and everyone in between.  He has a master’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and works in information systems for a large corporation.
Andrew’s hobbies include collecting antiques, gardening, and leaving his dirty dishes anywhere but in the sink (particularly when writing).  He also hates laundry, cooking, and cleaning. Luckily he has a husband who does that for him so he can keep writing.   He considers himself blessed with an accepting family, fantastic friends, and the world’s most supportive and loving partner. Andrew currently lives in beautiful, historic Carlisle, Pennsylvania.

BEC'S REVIEW OF LEGAL ARTISTRY  (this is one of my first reviews, my how far they have come :P)

THERE YOU HAVE IT! I TOLD YOU IT WAS MORE THAN A FEW :), IF YOU HAVEN'T READ ANY OF THESE BOOKS THEN WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? CLICK ON THE LINKS AND CHECK EM OUT! NOW FOR A POST ABOUT WHAT THIS AUTHOR MEANS TO ME!

From the very first time I picked up an Andrew Grey book two things stood out to me, one was his gift for writing a story that will captivate you from cover to cover, and two is his compassion! These are just two of the things that keep me coming back for more of his stories!
When I read the Senses Series it really hit home for me (yes I cried, a lot!) because my only Aunt is handicapped, now it isn't a big deal to us, we grew up with her and she is one of the best people I know, but it is amazing how cruel some people can be just because someone is different.
When I read the Senses Series I was floored how someone could write with such compassion and caring, and yet his writing makes people see that though someone has a handicap it doesn't mean that they are less capable than you and me!
So I want to thank Andrew for that, and I would urge you to pick up all of his books, but that series in particular if you haven't read it! It will make you cry, yes but it will also make you view others in a different way than you may have before! Thanks for that Andrew, for your compassion and caring you will always have a special place in my heart!
I HOPE YOU WILL PICK UP SOME OF THESE BOOKS IF YOU HAVEN'T READ THEM, AND TAKE TIME TO GET TO KNOW ANDREW, HE IS INDEED A VERY TALENTED AUTHOR AND SPECIAL PERSON! THANKS FOR JOINING ME FOR MY AUTHOR SNAPSHOT, SEE YOU NEXT WEEK WITH ANOTHER GREAT AUTHOR!

WHO I USED TO BE RELEASE DAY REVIEW!

HEY FRIENDS, I AM SUPER EXCITED TO FINALLY BRING YOU MY RELEASE DAY REVIEW OF WHO I USED TO BE: FIRSTS & FOREVER 12 BY ALEXA LAND, AND EARLIER THAN EXPECTED TOO! THIS BOOK HOLDS A SPECIAL PLACE IN MY HEART FOR SURE! LOOK BELOW FOR MY REVIEW AND THE AMAZON LINK AND GOODREADS LINKS! LET'S GET TO IT!

THIS QUOTE APPLIES, BELIEVE ME! NOW FOR MY REVIEW:

Who I Used To Be
Firsts & Forever 12
by: Alexa Land
reviewed by: Becky

Zachary’s life is careening toward disaster.

At just 24, he’s had to do whatever it takes to survive, including selling his body, and the ways he’s found to escape from his bleak reality are destroying him.

On one of the worst nights of his life, Zachary meets TJ, a broken man with demons of his own. A former drug addiction and time in prison took him from his son Trevor at a young age and left TJ crippled with guilt. He thinks he can help Zachary though, not that he wants to be helped.

It takes hitting rock bottom for Zachary to reach out to TJ, the one person he thinks will understand. Neither is expecting the attraction that flares between them, not with their substantial age difference, and certainly not while drowning in a sea of pain and regret. In the process of healing, both begin to discover so much more than they ever dreamed possible.

But does love stand a chance between two lost souls who are convinced they’re damaged beyond repair?

I am really excited to be able to share with you (finally) :P how special this book is! Alexa knows what it takes to bring a character to their HEA, and though some of it may be painful, it always turns out to be just the story that needs to be told, Zachary's sure is!

There will be moments in this story where you will gasp and say OMG what was she thinking, but believe me, it all ties into a neat little bow at the end and some things open doors for amazing stories ahead! Are you curious yet? I know you are!

Zachary has his eyes open to many things in this book, not the least of them being that the feelings he had for Chance were no doubt just puppy love compared to the real thing he feels for TJ! You will love how these two interact and believe me, though this story is a slow burn, it is one you will not soon forget, and the slower the burn the hotter the ignition, believe me!

So I have told you nothing about the plot line, that is because I simply can not! This story is too special to spoil even a little bit, and I hope no one does it! The book should reveal the secrets right?

Pick up this book guys, it is magic in printed form and I am positive you will love it just as much as I do! Thanks Alexa, for giving good 'ol TJ the HEA that he and sweet Zachary deserve!

the 5 paddle boat rating :D

Haven Naranjo is a proud Caddo Indian, with a frightening past. He was a mere fifteen-year-old boy when he found his parents, part of his tribe, and his high-school sweetheart slaughtered by a wereman gone mad. Falling victim to a system unable to deal with a shattered young mind, Haven finally gives up on himself. He grows up to be bitter and resentful toward the creatures he hates: werewolves.

Alexander Prescott has known since he hit puberty that Haven is his true mate. But there's one problem: Alexander comes from a large werewolf clan and is the true vessel of the Fenrir Ulv, destined to become the leader of all supernatural beings: the King of Wolves.

Alexander knows how to charm his, and his wolf's, way into the grumpy Caddo Indian man's heart. But fate has other plans for them.

When war between the Asa Gods and the Fenrir Ulv threatens, which side will the damaged Haven choose? Will he find a way of trusting those, especially Alexander, who he feels betrayed him? Or will he trust the words of strangers, who promise to make his quest of seeing all shifters dead a reality?

Haven's Revenge is a story of an emotional journey for a whole community. It's about finding acceptance not just from others but in yourself.
