OH MY YES! THIS IS PERFECT FOR BEN! HERE IS MY REVIEW:

Ben's Beginning (New Beginning's #2) by: Leona Windwalker
                                                             reviewed by: Becky

Filled with guilt and self recriminations over his identical twin Sol's kidnapping and abuse, Ben seeks counseling which reveals he too has scars from his own suffering during the ordeal. He desperately tries to make amends with Sol, Seth, and his foster parents, and to make himself a better man. Meeting sweet, funny, gorgeous Marty at the Crab Derby seems like fate is finally smiling on him when he returns to college in Atlanta and spies Marty at his favorite local coffee shop. Marty causes him to have to face questions he never knew he'd have to ask about himself, as he discovers Marty is not a girl at all as he'd first supposed. Marty's not only a very gender fluid male but the one person who seems to complete Ben's heart if Ben can only acccept both Marty and himself as the people they truly are.
When events from his past return, Ben's left wondering if perhaps karma has returned to pay him in kind and whether or not Marty will end up as collateral damage. Desperate to hold onto what they might have together, Marty enlists the help of family and friends to help Ben find his self worth. But is it enough? Marty hopes so. He simply can't imagine a happily ever after without Ben in it.

I have been waiting to see what this author would do with Ben's book, and how she would redeem him to fans that weren't to happy with him for what he accidentally got Sol and eventually himself into in the last book! Well let me tell you, she did a fantastic job, and I really love Ben's story!

Ben feels a lot of guilt for what happened to his brother Sol, and the lasting affects it has had, though it happened to him on a lesser degree, he blames himself for not seeing through his parents like Sol did. He has made peace with Sol's husband Seth, and he feels like he finally has a bond with his brother that could be strong, if he will let himself be loved by them.

Marty is beautiful, and when Ben meets 'her' at a fair, there is instant attraction, but when he is lucky enough to see Marty again at collage, Marty ignores him, why? Ben finds the answer out soon enough, and his reaction to it has him questioning everything he ever knew about himself.

What I love about both Ben and Marty is when they decide the attraction is mutual, they jump in with both feet, and I love it when they "meet the parents" it is  awesome! The past doesn't stay buried forever, and what will happen when Ben finds himself in danger not once, but twice?

This book is wonderful, the perfect sequel, and I love that you get to see so many of the characters from book one, and how they blend seamlessly into the book! Grab Ben's Beginning, you will fall in love with it just like I did! Thanks Leona, for a book 2 that more than delivers the goods!

YES FRIENDS, YOU NEED TO GET THIS ONE! HERE IS AN EXCERPT:

What he assumed were also cable ties dug into his flesh. Moving them proved to be a mistake as it began to return a small measure of circulation to hands he had failed to notice were numb. Pins and needles prickled unbearably. Not again. Seriously, this shit is getting old.

Really, really old. He could hear movement somewhere else close by. Probably more squatters, in the office next door. “Hey, anybody there? Hey, can you come help me?” A shadow fell across the doorway as a large frame filled it. As the figure stepped into room, it became clear that person was a rather large man with greasy lank hair and a spotty face. As the man spoke, yellowed, broken teeth also became evident. It was rather disconcerting as it was difficult to hold him in focus.

“Shut your yap. You keep making that noise, I'll tape your mouth closed.” Ben remained silent. “That's better. Now you just sit tight and I'll go let your uncle know you're awake.”

OH YEAH, POOR BEN HAVING TO DEAL WITH MORE CRAZIES! HERE IS SOME INFO ON LEONA:

Leona is a longtime staunch supporter of human rights and environmental causes. Her favourite genre to read is M/M fiction and she particularly enjoys science fiction, fantasy, and action/suspense subgenres—especially if they have a nice seasoning of romance. She has far too many books on her Kindle, has overloaded her phone with even more and, when not reading, writing, being driven to distraction by her children, or being overlorded by her three cats, can be found trying to locate the portal that the sock monster uses to steal socks from her dryer.

I LOVE THIS BIO! I HAVE THE SAME SOCK MONSTER TOO! HERE ARE SOME LINKS FOR LEONA:
